Affirmations are a powerful tool to break thought patterns that are self-sabotaging, destructive and dis-empowering. 

Affirmations are similar to the psychological practice of cognitive restructuring.  Where specific language and sentences are structured to counter negative beliefs and thoughts through repetitive reading, writing and/ or reciting of new affirming information.  The repetition of the information interferes with maladaptive (negative) thought patterns, and creates space for new adaptive (positive) structures to form.  The power comes from repetition. Repeat these affirmations daily to help you break negative thought patterns and generate new positive ones. This process will help to Open the Heart, Master the mind and calm the Emotion Body.
