CONSCIOUS TOOL:

How to Know your 'NO'

This CONSCIOUS TOOL will help you stay true to your heart by learning the art of saying 'No' to others when you mean it, and 'Yes' to you when you need it.

These exercises are based on the Blog: The Power of Saying 'No'

For some it is always easy to Know their 'No', for others it might be a little unclear at times, and then for the rest it can be really hard to tell when our 'No' is 'No'.  Below I have listed some little clues that can help you tune into your intuition, mind, and body so you can get to Know Your 'NO'.  If you are feeling, seeing or thinking any of the below you might need to PAUSE, and be honest with yourself about whether you should go to that place, do that thing, or see that person.  Regardless of the where, what or who, if the when is not right none of the others will be right either.

...It is all about timing to ensure your cup stays full...

What a 'No' Feels, Looks, Thinks like...

Feels:

  • When you feel tired at the thought of going out, or doing a certain thing, or seeing a certain person.

  • When it just doesn't feel right and you can't explain it.

  • When you feel heavy in mind or body. As if a heavy energetic blanket has been thrown over you.

Looks:

  • When you can't see yourself having fun.

  • When you can see that the situation might go pear-shaped.

  • When you can see that the other person is not in a mood, or frame of mind that you want to be around.

Thinks:

  • When you are thinking negatively about going to it, or doing it.

  • When you are having negative or frustrated thoughts about the place, thing, or person you are planning to spend time with.

  • When you are thinking about where you would rather be, what you rather do, or who you would rather be with.

If you feel any of these, notice and of these, or think like any of these then you probably mean 'No' to Go to that Place, Do that Thing, or See that person.
